The Unified Tournament Circuit is a regional circuit for Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar which covers the area between Virginia and Newfoundland. In case you missed our announcement, you can find it here.
With the announcement of our conference expansion we should be seeing a lot more events a lot more consistently. We have quite a few events to get through today, so let's take a look.
Kicking us off is a GT out of Toronto. The event was won by Tim Deetlefs playing Aeldari, with a heavy aspect warrior list featuring a Skatach Wraithknight. Last week I said I had to respect the Skathatch because big models are cool. I have decided if this is now what wins Aeldari events, I no longer have to respect it. Stop making me write about Eldar.
Next up is an AoS RTT from Your Hobby Place in Virginia. The winning list was David Morgan’s Gloomspite Gitz featuring everyone’s geological enthusiast, Trugg. Cool to see the big man make the table even if it's not his army of renown.
David Morgan - Gloomspite Gitz
Ryan Marcum - Stormcast Eternals
Daniel McGeehan (Mid-Atlantic Mollywhoppers) - Blades of Khorne
Back on the 40K front, we have an RTT out of Illinois. The winning list was Michael Schietinger’s Dark Angels (Ironstorm Connotation) featuring Azrael, a Darkshroud, and three RepEx’s. This is what I’m talking about; take more cool lists like this that feature absolutely no elves.
Michael Schietinger (Rising Tide Gaming) - Dark Angels
For our second Canadian 40K GT of the week, we have an event out of Manitoba. Tau took this event with a list piloted by Logan Antonation. The list features three Devilfish full of Breachers and two Riptides to round it out. Glad to see Tau can still hang!
Back in the states, we have one last 40K RTT. This one was won by Todd Morrison’s Necrons, featuring three C’tans and two bricks of Wraiths for maximum durability. This looks like a real tough nut to crack, so no surprise it took the event.
Closing us out is another AoS RTT and finally I get to talk about a cool faction. Seth Havey took the event with their Flesh-Eater Courts, the coolest AoS army. The list featured two reinforced bricks of Crypt Horrors and Ushoran himself making the scene. Love to see the model that got me to play AoS at all winning events. Sick as Hell.
Seth Havey (Steel City Sigmar) - Flesh Eater Courts
Ben Klos (Steel City Sigmar) - Lumineth Realm Lords
Andrew Chadwick (Steel City Sigmar) - Maggotkin of Nurgle
