The Unified Tournament Circuit is a regional circuit for Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar which covers the area between Virginia and Newfoundland. In case you missed our announcement, you can find it here.
First up, we have an RTT out of VA. Stephen Davis won the event with a pretty typical T’au good stuff list. It’ll be interesting to see how this army shifts when the new book releases with the changes to crisis suits that were mentioned on Warhammer Community. At the very least we should hopefully see less cyclic ion blasters.
Stephen Davis (Terran Battle Friends) - T’au
Daniel Bradcovich (Terran Battle Friends) - Adepta Sororitas
Ryan (Brynjar) Hendricks (Terran Battle Friends) - Adeptus Custodes
Staying in the DMV, we have another RTT, this time out of Maryland. Mathew Burgoon took the event with their Aeldari. This list is mostly more of the same with the exception of a big brick of Windriders led by a Farseer Skyrunner. Turns out all of these can take a shuriken cannon and can have full rerolls pretty easily. Cool, good, more elf tech.
Mathew Burgoon (Cobra Lounge) - Aeldari
Matt Lorah (Vanguard Tactics) - Aeldari
Steven Kimbell (Legion of Extraordinary Gentlemen) - Death Guard
Another T’au win, this time coming from Austin Johnson in Ohio. The list features six Devilfish full of breachers and three Hammerheads (one of which is Longstrike). This list rules, no way around it. Fish of Fury may indeed be back folks.
Going up to the great white north, we have a 40k GT. Taking the day was Ryan Bell’s World Eaters. The list is actually very similar to what we were seeing before the balance pass; Berserker Glaive MoE, Favored of Khorne, plenty of Eightbound, and of course Angron.
Ryan Bell (GTA40k) - World Eaters
Cody Brown (Stud or Scrub) - Adepta Sororitas
Zachery Riegling (Bloodbath and Beyond) - Adepta Sororitas
Captain-General Trajann Valoris Solar Watch scheme painted by Crab-stuffed Mushrooms
Still up in Canada we have another 40k RTT. Kurtis Stclair won the event with their Custodes, taking a pretty typical list consisting of guard, wardens, and terminators. Congrats Kurtis!
Coming back down to America for a change of pace we have an AoS RTT out of New York. Boris Poletaev’s Nighthaunt took the event with their Nighthaunt Scarlet Doom list. The list is pretty straightforward, with 60 Bladegheist Revenants looking to apply mortal wounds directly to your forehead.
Back over to 40k, we have an RTT out of Pennsylvania. Imperial Knights took the day with Marcus Kehoe at the helm. The list is an Armiger heavy one, with a Knight Errant and Canis Rex supporting them.
Marcus Kehoe (Da Kheeke klappas) - Imperial Knights
Yet another 40k RTT, this time coming from Florida. Mike Muzeni’s Thousand Sons took the event. The list is pretty interesting in that while it has the standard array of characters, it features two Mutaliths and 3x3 Tzaangor Enlightened units. This makes sense with the lethality of the Mutalith and the great utility of the Enlightened backing up the Rubrics doing their thing can spell trouble for a lot of armies.
Surprise! It's another 40k RTT. This time back up in Canada, with Paul Levesque winning the event. Paul took another pretty typical Custodes list, this time going heavy on the guard and Allarus and passing up the Wardens.
One last 40k RTT out of Florida again. Another Thousand Sons win with a list featuring double Mutaliths and some Tzaangors piloted by Diego Gutierrez. Seems like despite us marking them as losers in the last balance pass, Thousand Sons are still able to hang.
Remember when I said there was one last 40k RTT? I lied. Robert Chandler’s Aeldari won the event. The list is pretty in line with what we’ve been seeing. Avatar of Khaine, Aspect Warriors, and some Fire Prisms are neat I guess.
