The Unified Tournament Circuit is a regional circuit for Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar which covers the area between Virginia and Newfoundland. In case you missed our announcement, you can find it here.
Starting off we have an RTT out of Alabama. Ethan Curran took the event with their Black Templars Righteous Crusaders list. The list brings Helbrecht with Sword Brethren to form what I’ve seen referred to as “The Hellbrick” and Grimaldis and twenty crusaders to form a “Heckbrick.” This is backed up by a good amount of mechanized support to make for a tanky and lethal list.
Next we have another RTT out of Palladium Games in Phoenixville. Justin Serrano’s Custodes took the event in one final ride for the golden boys and girls before their book potentially consigns them to the shelf for a bit. The list is a pretty interesting one, eschewing more bodies for a Land Raider and Grav Tank to provide a tougher body to move dudes around.
Moving over to Maryland, we have an RTT out of Tables and Towers. Mathew Burgoon took the event with their World Eaters, proving that God’s angriest soldiers can still hang. The list is just a pile of Eightbound backed up by Angron and a Lord of Skulls. A lot of folks don’t love the Lord of Skulls’ model. Those people are all idiots.

Last up and in my neck of the woods is an RTT from Your Hobby Place. Jonas Beardsley won the event with Grey Knights, and since he's a friend of mine, I reached out for some commentary. The list brings a whopping four Dreadknights and Canis Rex. Jonas’ rational for this is two fold: first, he likes giant robots (this is one of the reasons we are friends) and second, Canis provides some high strength attacks that Grey Knights generally lack. The last round seemed to be a rough one for Jonas, but he managed to die just slowly enough to outscore his opponent. Congrats Jonas!
