Content We Liked: January 3, 2020

by | Jan 03 2021

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Warhammer digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

  • Alex's Settrus the Returned Display Board @AjGhostArm via Twitter This is a rad armies on display board that shows off a wonderfully-painted Tomb Kings? army made from Stormcast Eternals.
  • Ash's Idoneth Cape @Ash_Lowe4 via Twitter Ash nailed the look they were going for here (light effects underwater) - I can't wait to see the finished model.
  • Me-U's Space Marine Petting a Catte @MeU_317 via Twitter Extremely same, buddy.
  • Ben Komets' Ratling Tank @benkomets via Instagram A project a year in the making, this tank is equal parts amazing and adorable. Big Metal Slug vibes from this thing.
  • Leonard's 40k Train @LeonardDime via Twitter The second 40k train built from terrain kits the account has shown, and just wonderfully well done. Reminds me a lot of the Ghost Train from FF6, actually.
  • Christof Keil's 3rd Edition Black Templars Diorama @k03rnl via Instagram Just amazing work bringing this Blanche classic to live. The "Last Stand of the Crimson Fists" first edition cover has been done to death but you never see a recreation of the third edition cover. This rules.
  • ">WarhammerTV's Guide to Painting Darker Skin Tones WarhammerTV via YouTube A great video tutorial on tackling some skin tones that hobbyists might be less familiar with painting.
  • VictorQ's Banshees @VictorQuesRamos via Twitter These are cool models and Victor has done a good job making them appear appropriately ghastly.
