Content We Liked: August 15, 2021

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Warhammer digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at large

  • Pug for the Pug God u/jesusisherelookbusy via Reddit I absolutely love this stupid, amazing boy. So good.
  • Kalani's amazing marine conversions @DarthKalani via Twitter There are four awesome conversions here but I'm really just here for the Ultramarines samurai robot
  • Richard Gray's outstanding Plaguespitter marine @daemonrich via Twitter Richard has done a fantastic job on this model, with an aesthetic that you don't see all that often. It looks almost like an oil painting of a model at a glance. Just wonderful and grimy in the best ways.
  • A menacing Corpse grinder u/Flameon_miniatures via Reddit On the other hand we have this incredibly clean, bright corpse grinder, ready to murder you with a handsaw on a rope. Great stuff.
  • Oscar's Sigmarite Banner @Oscar28120786 via Twitter Amazing use of color on this banner bearer, and the rainbow shimmers of the banner itself are really neat.
  • A Valhallan Kitbash using the new Death Korps models u/pete_the_war_gamer via Reddit Pete shows us how to do a simple kitbash of the new kill team models into an outstanding Valhallan, then gives is a great paint job to finish things off. Great work.
  • The Stealthiest Suits u/Yetiwithmachete via Reddit I'm a sucker for comedy stealth models and these are pretty great. No perfidious Tau here, no sir.
  • A Hinged and Magnetized Predator Turret u/Yota_Mota via Reddit This is the first time I've seen someone actually make a fully functional turret hatch where you can push the marine down when the hatch closes. Really cool stuff.
  • Codex Tyranids Cross-Stitch @VarcanCluster via Twitter Apparently a gift many years ago from their mum, this stitched hive tyrant from the 2nd edition codex cover is really cool.
  • Kitbashed Krootox Riders u/Humaniak via Reddit Some grotesque but cool conversions of larger, more deadly Kroot.
