Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.
Welcome back for another round of Content We Liked! Shooting right off the starting line this week with a speedy little number by Minibionics on reddit, who has crafted a ramshackle Gang Esher hoverskiff by mashing together Esher jetbikes, terrain pieces and an Imperial Knight turret. This thing screams the essence of Necromunda, the down and gritty street-level sci-fi with Warhammer's signature gothic twist. Its a hell of a present and we'd love to see the rest.
Speaking of Knights, we've got a grody Chaos Knight up next by Crypsisart over on Instagram who has gone hard into the Annihilation inspiration with a suit absolutely overrun with malevolent fungus and plantlife, its pilot long consumed by the lichen. This thing is so spooky cool, and the inclusion of the Knight-sized grenade pushes it into the sick as hell range.
3d printers are such a cool tool for miniature hobbyists, and once you work through the learning curve and the many, many teething issues of getting the things to work there's little limit to what you can create with them. No better example of this than this video from scale modeller Night Shift, who has recreated the kind of toy truck they always wanted as a kid. A downright heart-warming watch we can't recommend enough.
