Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.
Lets start this week off on a bright note, with LED wizard Christ Buxey's wired up Kruleboyz Potgrot. Lighting work is always super cool to see on minis, especially minis with so little space to work with as a itty bitty Goblin like this, the electronics really adding an eerie spookiness to the creepy lil' grot and his pot. Owns bones.
Another really cool Warhammer piece we saw this week sees fan favourite Gabriel Seth getting the Primaris upgrade he's so far been denied. With this custom part-converted sculpt of the Imperium's angriest boy beautifully satiny red. Throw in a dash of subtle NMM, weathered leather and restrained use of blood effects dripping from his Eviscerator, and you've got a damn fine Son of Sanguinius right there.
We've been long time fans of MtGtuber Spice8Rack, their excellent series of introspective yet hugely entertaining essays and rundowns of various aspects of Magic's mechanics and flavour being a regular feature of our Youtube playlists. Now they've released their 4 hour and 20 mins (nice) magnum opus, a look at the fondly remembered Khans/Dragons of Tarkir block. A pivot point in Magic's history, Spice looks at the set's many victories and failures in intense and well researched detail. Just go watch it, go watch it now.
