Content We Liked: 19th November, 2023

by Steel Mentor | Nov 19 2023

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

Starting this week off with highlighting this fantastic article by Improbable Solutions talking about the actual process of model making and why plastic is such an expensive option. It's a fascinating read with a lot of expert insight, a pro-click if there ever was one.

Sweet lord, where do we start with this Apothcary Biologis? Is it the slick white armour with the gorgeous shading? The downright radiant OSL glows reflected across the armour's surface? The pops of saturated primaries to bring it all together? Just incredible work.

It's Legions Imperialis week so lets have a tiny titan! @TuomistoJoni brings us a Reaver titan taking cues from the classic Adeptus Titanicus/Epic artwork on the right, but then going above and beyond with some intense freehanding across its livery. A looming testament to the Machine God.

Groundeffected's at it again, this time filling up the Dorn Hole and our hearts with this motorized Rogal Dorn Battle Tank. As always these are just such a delight, would 100% be okay with it running over our armies.

Okay we can stop Armies on Parade, nothing's gonna top this. The repurposing of one of those crap motorized fishing toys is a delight enough, but to jam the entire diorama inside a giant squigshark's mouth? You can't top that.
