The MASSIVE 2025 Grand Narrative Administratum Update

by Robert "TheChirurgeon" Jones | Nov 12 2025

Hello again, everyone! Every year we like to show up and throw our support behind Games Workshop's Grand Narrative and every year that means crunching to get support for armies into Administratum in time for the event. This year we had an ambitious slate of "all the codexes" and while we didn't quite get there, we got PRETTY DAMN CLOSE. So it's with great pleasure that I present to you our big November 2025 Administratum update, chock full of support for the game's factions.

As with our other add-ons, these are available to Patrons who subscribe to Goonhammer at the Official Patron level ($5 per month) or above, and subscribers at the Warhound level ($10 per month) and above can make the add-ons available to anyone playing in a campaign they've created.

So if these features interest you, or you'd like to support us and help us create more cool features, go ahead and click that button below and sign up to become a patron.

Now, on to the good stuff.

Armageddon

This happened about two months ago but we didn't post about it - we added the Armageddon Add-on! It's not finished - it's still missing some key features - but the basic functionality is in there. We're going to be finishing it off in the next week and making it possible to build teams and handle postgame questions.

Requisitions for Every Faction

First off, there are Requisitions - we went ahead and implemented these for every faction in the game. This is about the easiest thing for us to do and while they mostly don't do anything except decrement your Command Points, they will do that correctly and you'll have a record that you used them, which is the first step on the road to having the content for these done.

Codex: Leagues of Votann

Votann were already in Administratum thanks to our having implemented the Leagues of Votann White Dwarf rules last year, but those rules were replaced by the new codex, and were now wrong. So we've updated those to reflect the new codex. Track Kindred resources, purchase assets and upgrades, and work your way across the galaxy.

Codex: Emperor's Children

The Emperor's Children are all about collecting creepy ingredients and using those to concoct powerful elixirs that increase their prowess in battle and also probably give them some insane highs. The new add-on for Emperor's Children lets you manage your ingredients and elixirs and use them in battle. Mixing new elixirs and making ingredients hasn't been fully implemented yet, but manually adjusting your ingredients and elixirs means you can manually track those changes for now.

Codex: World Eaters

This one still needs some work, but the bones are there - it'll add skull and legendary skull trackers to each World Eaters unit on your roster, and you can track the skulls for every unit in your roster from your Roster dashboard.

Codex: Chaos Knights

This one also needs work - we have some cool ideas for the chassis upgrades - but for now we've added a tracker for amassing power for your household. Track your influence among the Dark Gods, Idolators, and War Dogs as you brutally subjugate your foes and teach them the meaning of fear.

Codex: Imperial Knights

We haven't implemented Quests yet - those will be coming in the next week or so - but we've implemented pilot tracking for Imperial Knights, complete with the ability to track your upgrades and burdens.

Codex: Grey Knights

Your secretive daemon-hunting forcers are now able to play their infernal games of Tic-tac-toe with the denizens of the warp. We've implemented pretty much all of the Grey Knights rules, though we have a tiny bit of work left to do connecting some of the Requisitions to this - but you can manually adjust the board as you see fit.

What's Next

More updates! We're planning to add support for Black Templars in the next week - it's done but hasn't been tested in our backend yet. We expect it to be ready to launch this week. We're also hard at work finishing the Armageddon update, and that should hopefully go live in the next week, along with support for quests for Imperial Knights. We're also going to be looking at bugfixes and removing the hard cap on giving a unit with 71+ XP another battle trait, to make those Requisitions work properly.

After that, our goal is to get the core mechanics for Death Guard, Thousand Sons, and  Drukhari implemented, then we'll come back and flesh out and finish the remaining add-ons and tackle the complicated mess in the Imperial Agents book. With any luck, we should have all of it implemented by year's end.

If you've supported us this whole time, thanks for sticking with us this far! And if you're new to the app and just now helping out, thanks! There are a ton of books and supplements to support in Administratum and keeping it up to date is a massive amount of work. None of it would be possible without your support. And if you aren't supporting us, consider starting - not only do you get cool exclusive features in Administratum, you also get access to exclusive features in Tabletop Battles, access to our Discord, exclusive podcasts, and the ability to turn off ads on the site.
