Happy New Year, narrative players! We've been hard at work on updates to Administratum over the holiday break, and if you missed any of our latest updates, I'm here to give you the full scoop on what has changed, been updated, and added to our Crusade app. Plus I'll be talking about what's next as well.
As with our other add-ons, these are available to Patrons who subscribe to Goonhammer at the Official Patron level ($5 per month) or above, and subscribers at the Warhound level ($10 per month) and above can make the add-ons available to anyone playing in a campaign they've created.
So if these features interest you, or you'd like to support us and help us create more cool features, go ahead and click that button below and sign up to become a patron.
If you missed our last update, you can
find it here - we added support for Codex: Leagues of Votann, Emperor's Children, Chaos Knights, Grey Knights, Imperial Knights, World Eaters, and Armageddon. This time we've got more great stuff to talk about.
Armageddon Is Fully Live
We've been building out the missing features for our Armageddon support and we're happy to say that is now fully live, so you can add players to alliances (or they can join those themselves), and have them start accruing Strategic Points from games. When reporting a game for Armageddon you'll now get a widget on the Battle Report which lets you record how many Strategic Points you've earned for your Alliance and Phase.
We've also added a feature on the Campaign Dashboard for Armageddon Campaigns as well so you can toggle from the existing view to a new per-Alliance breakdown, which will show you how many Strategic Points each player contributed in each phase.
Additionally, Campaign admins have access to a new Player Assignments option in the Armageddon menu, which lets them manually control all player assignments.
There were some game submission bugs around this as well - we've fixed those with some updates this week, so if you were having trouble submitting games in Armageddon, those should be resolved now. The big one we fixed was related to submitting games in an Armageddon campaign if you were not part of an Alliance and did not submit an Alliance to contribute Strategic Points to (even if you weren't part of one and were only contributing 0 points). This now throws up a warning and no longer messes everything up.
If you're still having problems with strategic point totals or game submission, submit a bug report to us using the app so we can take a look at your specific issue.
Codex: Death Guard Now Live
We've also added support for Codex: Death Guard. You can now create your own plague and planet to infect, tracking progress across several different key factors and tracking your Pathogen.
We've also added the Requisitions as usual, and they'll all decrement your RP as needed even if you have to actually do some of the things manually. That said, more of themot all - work than usual - more on that below.
Chaos Boons for Every Chaos Faction
We've gone back and added support for Chaos Boons for every faction that has them - Chaos Space Marines, Death Guard, Thousand Sons, Emperor's Children, and World Eaters. If you have one of those add-ons enabled for your roster, you'll now see Boons as an option when you assign a Battle Honour to your unit.
You can either consult the chart for your upgrade or have the app roll one up for you automatically, randomly generating it. Of course, there's always a risk there...
Should you trigger a boon your character already has, they'll suffer Spawndom. If you click on that box and continue, Administratum will go ahead and delete your unit's roster card and replace it with a new Chaos Spawn, retaining all of the Battle Honours it had. You'll need to update point costs on your own, however.
Codex Supplement: Black Templars is Live!
Finally we've also implemented Oathsworn Campaigns for Black Templars. Once you've enabled the Space Marines add-on, you can enable the add-ons for Codex Supplements like Black Templars by going to your roster dashboard and finding the Oathsworn widget, then clicking on the little hamburger menu on the upper right. That's where you can enable Black Templars and start embarking on a quest to Honour the Creed.
Other Bug Fixes and Updates
There's plenty of other stuff to talk about, and we've gone through and tweaked a few other things as well.
- We've added support for a number of Requisitions actually doing something across different books, aside from just incrementing/decrementing your RP.
- We fixed a nasty bug preventing add-ons from being applied when a user clicked "Add Game" from a campaign - only by adding games from your roster were add-ons correctly working. This fixed some of the Conquest troubles, and also made Battle Reports feel more consistent throughout the site.
Next Up: Thousand Sons and the Vespator Front
That wraps up this particular update, but we have more in store - we're hard at work on updates to cover the remaining books. Thousand Sons is next, after which we'll finally be tackling Imperial Agents before moving on to Drukhari. And there are older updates we're going to knock out as well, covering some missing features on older books we haven't had a chance to implement yet.
But it won't all be updates - we're planning on support for the new War on the Vespator Front campaign, which will include the ability to build your own planetary maps, allocate resources, and integrate those planet mechanics with Crusade mechanics. It's a lot of work, and it won't all get done at once, but we're aiming to start rolling something out there to support Vespator campaigns by the end of next month. Stay tuned.
If you've supported us this whole time, thanks for sticking with us this far! And if you're new to the app and just now helping out, thanks! There are a ton of books and supplements to support in Administratum and keeping it up to date is a massive amount of work. None of it would be possible without your support. And if you aren't supporting us, consider starting - not only do you get cool exclusive features in Administratum, you also get access to exclusive features in Tabletop Battles, access to our Discord, exclusive podcasts, and the ability to turn off ads on the site.
