Starting off this week's column on a zealous note with this charged up Sword Brethren by gray_dun. Bent wire and OSL effects are such a simple effects conversion but they work so well everywhere we see them and this piece is no exception, the restrained use of them adding to the inherent menace of the sculpt so well. This Templar's about to viciously absolve the heck out of some heretics.

Fallout Vault Dwellers by whatsupgazpacho on Bluesky

Continuing on the line of simple but damn effective hobby tricks we've got these Vault Dwellers converted from Wargames Atlantic's Cannon Fodder boxset. A crisp, spot on paintjob of Vault-Tec blue and yellow and bam, you've got a set of scrappy survivors that really nail the early Fallout feel. Striking, simple, awesome.

Finishing this week's roundup on a significantly less restrained note, we have eyeofthestorm888's significantly Enbiggened take on The Silent King of the Necrons, using our good old bonedaddy Nagash as the basis. We love how this conversion reframes the original figure, the hover chariot now more of a hover throne and Szarekh gaining a much more baroque flavour compared to his underlings. Grandiose!
