Start Competing: Death Guard Tactics
The Death Guard are a traitor legion dedicated to the Chaos God Nurgle, the god of rot and decay. Originally one of the first founding legions of space marines, the Death Guard were known for their resilience and grim determination in combat. While on their way to aid the Imperium in the Heresy, their fleet was stilled in the warp and beset by a supernatural plague that decimated their number and twisted their purpose, eventually turning them to the worship of Nurgle. Now the Death Guard sow disease and destruction throughout the Imperium, spreading the blessings of Grandfather Nurgle as they despoil in his name with powerful plague weapons and daemon engines.
Faction Overview
The Death Guard specialize in being tough and spreading debilitating contagions (read: Debuffs) around the battlefield to disorient their enemies and weaken them as they deal the final blow. They're a slow faction when it comes to movement, but can make up for this with a number of relatively quick daemon engines. As a faction they tend more toward the elite side of things, relying on higher toughness to cross the battlefield as they inexorably push toward the opponent.
